What is Simon Says Personal training about, include, consists of..???
A simple question anyone may ask, or help to decide if its what your after.
Answer:
Well, it is what it is..
> Its SIMPLE, fitness exercises for anyone of any type, and its not exercises that don't relate to you and your everyday activities. Start simple, only then can you progress to get more out of your exercise.
> Its EFFECTIVE on you and your everyday life. Once you understand how easy, simple, yet challenging you can make it, you can get fitter, more energetic, and honestly feel better everyday. Why do exercises or fitness that doesn't cater to you, that doesn't mimic movements you will do each day.
> BASICS. Some people underestimate how good, just simple exercises like Push ups, squats, core hold exercises and more.. can still work you hard, or gain you muscle, or lift your cardio.. Think not? well challenge accepted :) you turn up, saying try me! and we'll get started !! :)
BUT!!
everything will always remain under your responsibility..
how hard you work.. How many breaks you take.. Can you stick to a routine outside of the sessions, or are you and procrastination good friends? :)
WHAT about you then?? What do you do?
Fair enough, good question :)
As a trainer who believes 100% in what i preach.. simple, effective, basics, i only give clients exercises i too would do.. As my life has consisted of being an active Footballer (soccer to many), playing and coaching 6 days a week, a sprinter through my school days AND a surfer, sports nut and more in my leisure time, you'd agree i have to be fit and eat well.
So i do the same fitness drills as i teach. CORE first.. STRENGTH & RESISTANCE next.. then CARDIO last, being a mix of sprint drills, and occasional long distance jogs.
Simon Says Personal Training is solely about showing you how easy keeping fit can be.. and that it shouldn't be a chore, take forever, or be the same thing every time.
It's also about striving for betterness! reaching your potential! avoiding sickness! anything that makes your life the best it can be, without feeling like there's excuses for anything.
It may not be for everyone, we all like our own styles.. but if you need motivating, being passionate about your fitness i can promise! :)

Is putting your health & fitness #1 hard..?
Getting started into doing regular fitness, and eating better, can be a mission for most..
But keeping up the routine is even tougher!
the problem..?
It's all in your head !
I can blab on about how good regular exercise can give you energy, tone you up etc etc..
AND..
how trying to eat 6 times a day, (no, thats not 6 massive meals a day, but a big breaky, snacks until medium lunch, then snacks until smaller dinner) can keep you trim, healthy, and away from the Docs,
but actually doing it yourself, while your not at PT sessions, but in your own time at home, is a completely different story.
Putting your health & fitness as your #1 priority in life, is the key.
You have to start by becoming religious about it nearly, and if it takes writing down things, having goal sheets in front of you everyday, then you must try do it.
For those who say, i dont have time, i have to work too much.. etc..
> How can you have time, if you dont ever take time, and can you work if your constantly sick or run down, from poor health?
For those who say, i can't afford to do anything..?
> How much would you say you spend on aspirin, panadol, nurofen etc keeping yourself managable from cold or flu's.. or how much do you spend on cures (prescriptions) after going to see the doc, time & time again.. Wouldn't your money be better spent on preventing that?
When your eating habits are Unreal, and your fitness is Awesome.. You'd agree you hardly get sick, and you have the gas to do anything and everything, because you've put yourself #1 in your everyday life.
As i said at the beginning though.. it all sounds logical, or possibly what you may desperately need in your life.. But until you put your priorities in the right order..
You'll never really know what your missing out on.
If this is you.. you live on the Sunshine Coast and you need an AssKicking :) then start somewhere.. message, email or call me today, not tomorrow..
and i promise you, Fun, but Intensity, and simple, effective exercises you can do anywhere, that will get you on the way to seeing yourself in a whole new world..
Energetic, free from sickness, fitter than ever and never worrying about having to put unneccesary effort into living again!
But keeping up the routine is even tougher!

Who's To Blame?
Oh my.. it's Winter !
Excuses are too easy to come by when it's winter, we all know..
"bed was too warm"..
"its too cold outside"..
"i dont feel well"..
What we must remember is our goals..
You want to be fit? You want to trim down? You want to be toned?
Then you can't afford to skip training!
The fact is, it's actually best done in winter, cos we eat more, and more is better, to speed the metabolism, but only if you're exericising too.
We rug up, so to train you will always find a comfort temperature, cos you can just remove a layer, compared to summer, when it's always too damn humid, and all that sweat doesnt feel that good.
It's also when we can put on the pounds and end up saying "lose it for summer" or taking up silly "get ready for bikini wearing" deals.. when if we had have just kept up our routines throughout the year, we'd already be there.
We only have OURSELVES to blame people, even as trainers, we must keep up our fitness throughout the year, or why train with us, if we look unfit..? would you be convinced?
So take RESPONSIBILITY, get off ya bums, and get into your programs, and stop PROCRASTINATING..
Guarantee, once you train, you'll say.. boy, did i need that, enjoy that, and glad i did that.
Become the person you can be, dont just be the one you've known
:)
Have an awesome day, everyday!
